In loving memory of Dorina and Sabrina Hubbert, The Little Badger House was born.

We stand on the shoulders of giants.

Originally founded by 4th generation Certified Master Baker Heinz Hubbert, The Little Badger House has always stood for excellence in hand-crafted, old-style artisan baking.

High quality. Nothing artificial. Reduced salt and sugar.

When it comes to the food, we are purists. We only bake with the best and highest quality ingredients such as untreated flour, butter, kefir, milk, sea salt, honey, maple syrup, sourdough from different backgrounds, etc. We avoid any shelf-life extenders or artificial flavouring agents.

All of the offerings that we produce are manufactured under the “Artisan” umbrella with only natural ingredients being used.

Sugar and salt are reduced to the minimum needed to maintain our high standards. In fact, 90% of our handcrafted breads are without any addition of sugar. Sweetness are only from fruit, in certain instances, that are added to produce the breads.

Hand-crafting and slow fermentation.

Depending on the hand crafting process, some breads will be passing up to 7 times through our hands before being placed in a slow fermentation chamber for a 24-hour resting period. This allows the natural flavour development to exceed any level of taste experience that you’ve known before.
